          • Please make sure that you give verbal authorization for us to work with them directly if your insurance asks.

          • What you need to know:

        • Project Management

          • What you need to know:

            1. Every project will be thoroughly reviewed multiple times before we begin work.

            2. All materials will be delivered up to 2-3 weeks before your project begins.

            3. You will be notified 2-3 days before delivery.

        • Install Day

Crews will arrive between 6 - 9 AM

            • 1.

Remove loose items from shelves and walls
            • 2.

Move all yard furniture away from construction zone
            • 3.

Remove all cars from the garage and driveway
            • 4.

Leave any yard gates unlocked so the crew can have access they need
              • Loud Noise

                Controlled Mess

              • Roof replacement is a controlled but messy process—it will be loud and can take several days, depending on size and weather. Our team manages debris and cleans up throughout.
            • Other considerations:
              1. If certain items are too large or difficult for you to move, our roofing crew will move or protect all items.

              2. If you do not want heavy equipment on your driveway, please notify PRQ before your install so we can get insurance approval for the additional expense.

              3. Ceiling fixtures that are loosely installed or improperly secured may detach during roof work due to vibrations or movement, and PRQ Exteriors is not responsible for any resulting damage.
          • Weather & Safety

            • Weather: We will only remove a portion of your roof that can be replaced in a day.
You will be notified of any changes in schedule due to weather.

            • Children & Pets: It is important to keep children and pets away from the work zone.

            • Workzone Safety: There is a lot of falling debris along with other hazards like sharp metal, nails on the ground, and tools that could fall off your roof and could harm your loved ones.

PRQ Exteriors is not liable for the unavoidable damages.

              • Skylights

              • Protect interior areas under skylights from debris. Sheetrock and caulking may crack during roofing—this is unavoidable, and PRQ is not liable for repairs.

              • Exposed Rafters

              • Notify your PRQ Rep if your home has exposed rafters on the exterior or interior.

PRQ Exteriors will not be working on the interior of your home and will not be liable for these possible damages.

          • Installation & What to Expect

            • Damage: Due to the thousands of pounds being taken off and added back on to your roof, ceilings may expand and contract causing cracks or other damages from the flexing of ceiling trusses.

            • Driveway: Our supplier and crew will bring heavy equipment onto your driveway. We document driveway conditions before construction.

            • After completion of your roof, sidewalls that have siding, brick or stucco may incur unavoidable damage during flashing and/or roofing material installation.

PRQ Exteriors and ABC Supply are not liable for the unavoidable damages.

          • Cleanup

An average roof has about 70 pounds of nails for every layer of roofing which equates to 15,000 to 45,000 nails. During installation, the crews will use another 15,000 nails which could mean up to 60,000 nails on your property during the installation. This is almost 300 one-pound boxes of nails!

            • What you need to know:

              1. Our crew will use magnets to remove as many nails as possible, but some may be missed as they can get caught in grass, shrubs, and rocks.

              2. You can request additional nail clean up if necessary.

              3. Please do not throw any personal items in our dumpster.

              4. Materials may be left after the installation & will be picked up.

              5. We will leave behind 2 - 3 bundles of material for future repairs.

          • Permits & Inspection

              • Permits

              • PRQ will pull and may post necessary permits on your home.

If permit is posted, please do not remove these until notified to do so.

              • Inspections

              • Timeline for inspections is based on the County.

If there is a concern, a group call can be arranged with your account manager and the county office.

              • Ladder

              • We will need to lock & secure a ladder to your home for inspectors.

Do not remove this ladder. It will be locked to your gutter.

A PRQ representative will remove the ladder from your property after all inspections are completed.

Any left over material will be picked up at that time.

PRQ Exteriors is not responsible for anyone injured on or by the ladder.

              • HVAC

              • The crew may come into contact with your flue stack that runs down your furnace. Please make sure your furnace is working properly before and after the construction is completed. PRQ Exteriors will not replace your furnace cap even if it’s damaged from the storm. We are not insured to do HVAC work.

              • Satellite Dish

              • If you have a satellite dish attached to your roof, our crew will need to detach the dish. You will need to schedule your provider to come to your home to adjust your satellite dish in order to restore service.

          • HOA

            • What you need to know:

              1. PRQ Exteriors is not responsible for HOA requirements.

              2. If you have an HOA that has shingle requirements please submit the required paperwork to get it approved.

          • Deposit Payment

              • Due Upon Receipt

              • The Actual Cash Value (ACV) and Deductible are due when the upon receipt of the invoice. We will not move forward with scheduling the build unless paid.

                • For insurance claims, you may receive supplemental payments, which cover additional costs for code upgrades, manufacturer-required items, and necessary labor.

PRQ works with your insurance to secure these funds, which can increase your total RCV, but the process takes time.

              • You may receive multiple checks over several weeks or months.

                • Final Payment

                • Your final payment(s) which can include depreciation and supplements from insurance are due once received and your roof has been installed to its functional purpose.

                • Trades

                • If your project includes additional trades such and windows and siding, you may recieve insurance funds and invoices for this at the time of their completion.

              • Any areas of concerns, city inspections, or other non-functional matters should not interfere with payment to PRQ Exteriors as we will address any concerns in a timely manner per our warranty. Please make sure to reach out to your representative for these concerns.

Warranties are unenforceable until the project is paid in full.

        • ACV

          Actual Cash Value

The ACV is the "actual cash value" of the current claim. This amount is found in your insurance paperwork and includes your deductible, taxes, labor charges and overhead. This is the deposit amount owed to PRQ Exteriors.

        • $

          Deductible

Your deductible is your portion of the claim that you owe. Your insurer reduces your total payment by the amount of your deductible. Example: A $10,000 claim would release $9,000 for a customer with a $1,000 deductible.

        • RCV

          Replacement Cost

The RCV is the current project total before supplements are added to the estimate. Supplements are the funds for code related items, permits, or other necessary line items missing from the initial estimate.
